Shaykh Ahmed ibn ‘Umar Bazmool – may Allaah preserve him said – :
And his statement: “And the people will take it as a Sunnah”; meaning a legislation which is recommended or permissible or the likes of this. And making the permissible impermissible and the impermissible permissible enters into this.
And his statement: “And if it is changed one day”; meaning if it is denied and removed
And his statement: “And your scholars have gone”; meaning they have passed away before the knowledge was taken from them.
And his statement “And your ignorant ones have multiplied”; meaning those who have not learned the legislation; even if they had some ability in forming speech and making sentences, because this alone is not enough to remove them from the scope of ignorance.
